There is no better way to discover local food and products than to visit a market. And this is definitely true in Siem Reap as well. The local markets offer a fascinating shopping experience! Discover an unfamiliar mix of colors, odors and sounds while browsing through the small alleys, meet some of the friendliest Khmer people. And while you’re there, don’t forget to taste the street food and exotique fruits to experience some new flavors! Every neighborhood in Siem Reap has at least one market. Most of these markets are only frequented by locals for their basic food supplies and household needs.
Itinerary
Riverside and Villages circuit
You will leave your hotel with our guide to ride on unpaved roads along the Siem Reap River and across villages. You will discover the daily life of village people. Stop at a school and at a local market. Take a small rest and ride back to the hotel.
You will discover palm wine and sugar production as well as all sorts of local activities. You can stop wherever you want for a photograph, for a look around or for a more complete visit.
